Every other job tool helps you apply faster. Roundwise carries what happens after — every opportunity from saved to offer, with the stage it is in and the history that got it there.
Roundwise is being built in the open. The capture and match engine below is real and running today inside the Freezume browser extension.

Five states. One opportunity.
An opportunity is always in exactly one of these, and moving it records when. That record is what makes the fourth round answerable.
- 01
Saved
Captured, with its URL, company and role — before the tab closes.
- 02
Applied
You mark it applied. Nothing is auto-submitted, ever.
- 03

Someone opened it. The thread is still warm.
- 04

Rounds, notes and outcomes, attached to the opportunity.
- 05

The outcome, with the whole history that led to it.
Everyone optimised the wrong end of the funnel.

Prep
this is Roundwise
Four stages of tooling to help you send the application. One stage that decides whether you get the job.
Applying is cheap. Rounds are not.
You can send forty applications in an afternoon. You get one shot at the onsite, on one date, after weeks of waiting. The hour before it is worth more than the forty applications were.
Generic prep prepares you for a generic company.
"Practice STAR answers" is advice, not preparation. What you actually need is which of your stories to lead with, for this role, against the gaps this posting exposes.
You cannot cross-check yourself.
You are the one person who cannot read your own resume the way a stranger will. A gap you cannot see is a gap you cannot prepare for.
Four stages. Open any one to see the mechanism.
Nothing here is a black box. Every stage expands into what it actually does, including what it cannot do.
Structured data first
A posting that publishes schema.org JobPosting is read exactly as the employer wrote it.
Then the page itself
No structured data? Real landmarks and site-specific adapters read the rendered page — the DOM a human sees, not a server shell.
Then you, pointing at it
Nothing works? Select the text and right-click. That path works on an intranet careers page, a PDF-in-a-tab, or a posting pasted into a doc.
It says how sure it is
Every capture carries a confidence score, and a low one asks you to check rather than presenting a guess as a fact.
The screen-out check first
The requirements the posting treats as non-negotiable are ranked ABOVE the score, because those are what filter you out before a human reads anything.
Five explained lanes
Not one number. Mandatory requirements, weighted skills, nice-to-haves, experience and overall relevance — each one saying what it measured.
Grounded in your actual resume
Years come from the dates on your resume, not from a figure you typed in a summary. Every gap names a specific requirement.
Runs on your device
The same scoring engine freezume.com runs, bundled into the extension. Milliseconds, no quota, works on a plane.
Seven stages, in the order a search moves
Saved, applied, viewed, interview, offer — plus rejected and withdrawn, which are outcomes rather than progress.
History that cannot be rewritten
Every transition is recorded, including the ones that go backwards. A rejection followed by a re-application is a real sequence and the interesting part.
One posting, one record
A deterministic fingerprint means the same job captured twice — through a tracking link or a clean one — is one row, not two.
Yours on this device first
Saved locally the instant you press the button. Signing in adds your other devices; it is never what makes it work.
Seeded from your own gap list
The requirements you did not match are the things to prepare. That list already exists by the time you get here — it was the output of stage two.
Per round, not per job
A screen, a system-design round and a hiring-manager conversation ask different things. Prep is attached to the round it is for.
Attached to the application
"Where do I stand on this job" stays answerable weeks later, without re-deriving anything.
In development
This stage is the reason Roundwise exists and is being built now. The three before it are already running.
Four layers, pulled apart.
Security described with adjectives cannot be checked. Here is every boundary between your job search and anyone else, and the mechanism standing at each one.
Layer 01
Your browser
Where everything happens first, and where most of it stops.
- Jobs, statuses and notes are written to your own device the moment you press the button
- Matching runs here, against a resume that never leaves to be scored
- Signed out or offline, every one of those still works
Layer 02
A sealed envelope
Nothing readable leaves the browser, including by us in transit.
- ECDH P-256 key agreement against a public key the server publishes
- HKDF-SHA256 derivation, then AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption
- Separate keys each direction, so an IV can never be reused under one key
- No plaintext fallback: if the channel cannot be established, the sync fails rather than sending in the clear
Layer 03
A gateway that checks before it opens
Your identity is proven before anything expensive happens.
- Rate limit, then verify your sign-in token, and only then decrypt
- A fixed allowlist of what may be touched — the client never names a table
- Your own token is forwarded onward; no master credential is ever used for your data
Layer 04
Rows only you can read
The last boundary is the database itself, not our code.
- Row-level security keyed to your account, forced on — it applies to the table owner too
- Separate policies for read, write, update and delete, each revocable on its own
- A bug in the layers above cannot leak your rows, because Postgres refuses the read
The order matters as much as the list. Layer one works with the other three switched off — which is what makes signing in an enhancement rather than a dependency.
Different question, not a longer feature list.
Every tool here is good at what it does. They are answering a different question from the one you have the night before an interview.
Application trackers
"Where did I apply?"
Strength: Genuinely good at the board, the reminders, the autofill.
Gap: Knows nothing about the company or about you. A row in a spreadsheet with a logo.
A general AI chat
"Tell me about this company."
Strength: Fast, flexible, and free.
Gap: Starts from zero every time, has never read your resume, and cites nothing you can check.
Interview practice tools
"How do I sound?"
Strength: Real value on delivery and nerves.
Gap: Practises generic questions. Does not know which of your gaps this posting exposes.
Roundwise
"Do I fit, and what do I prepare?"
Strength: Reads the posting, reads your resume, names the gaps, turns them into prep — attached to the application.
And what Roundwise deliberately will not do
Every one of these is a door held shut on purpose. A product that will not say no becomes four mediocre products.
No job board
We are not another place to browse listings. Find jobs wherever you already do.
No resume builder inside it
Freezume already does that, properly. Roundwise owns resume intelligence, never the document.
No auto-apply
Mass-applying is a race to the bottom and a shrinking one. You mark it applied yourself.
No score without reasoning
A bare number you cannot audit is worse than no number, because you might act on it.
The things worth asking first.
It is being built in the open. The capture, matching and tracking described on this page run today inside the Freezume browser extension. Interview preparation and cross-device sync are in active development. Nothing on this page describes a feature that does not exist somewhere in the codebase.
No. Capturing a job, matching it against your resume, tracking your applications and writing notes all work signed out and offline. Signing in with Google adds your other devices — it is an enhancement, never what makes the product work.
No. Matching runs on your own device, using the same scoring engine freezume.com uses, bundled into the extension. Contact details are stripped before anything is even stored locally, because comparing a resume to a job description does not require knowing whose resume it is.
A chat starts from zero every time and has never read your resume. Roundwise reads the posting you are actually looking at, compares it against your actual experience, and keeps the result attached to that application — so weeks later "where do I stand on this job" is still answerable without re-deriving anything.
Any site, by design. Postings that publish structured data are read directly; others are read from the rendered page, with dedicated adapters for boards that need one. When nothing else works, selecting the text and right-clicking works everywhere — including intranet careers pages that no adapter will ever cover.
Removing the extension removes everything stored on that device. If you signed in, an account deletion path removes your cloud records too. Neither is buried in a settings sub-page.
Same company, same sign-in, same security architecture — separate products. Freezume builds the resume; Roundwise runs the job search that follows. Your Freezume resume is what Roundwise matches against, so the two work best together and neither requires the other.
Stop preparing for a generic interview.
Track the opportunity you are actually in the middle of. Roundwise is free while it is being built, and everything stays on your device.
No account needed to build a resume. Roundwise adds one only when you want your job search on more than one device.
